Manufacturer: Seasonic
Author: Mikhail Kagan

Introduction:

Since 1980, Seasonic has been making power supplies for PCs and in 1986, the first switching power supply was invented. In 1995, the first ATX power supply was created to accommodate the Intel Pentium market. Finally, in the year 2000, the smart and silent fan control technology with the Active PFC technology was created and used in the Seasonic Super Silencer PSUs.

The Seasonic Super Silencer (400w) is a unique and power saving power supply. It uses Active PFC that makes it capable of harnessing universal free input and creating efficiency up to 80%. This power supply also features Smart and Silent fan control that extends the life of the PSU fan and reduces the amount of noise released.
